Although it is extremely hard to chose which of all my photos that I like the most, these three were definitely some of my personal favorites.  I really like this first picture of a tree late at night, I went to capture more pictures, specifically for my concentration section which I did on trees. I was at a stoplight and I looked up and saw this huge tree hovering over me, and so I decided that I had to get out and take a picture of it! When I originally saw the tree I wanted to get all of the small details, and then once I saw the picture with them I realized that I just wanted to focus on the big picture, so I focused the camera on to the sky, and got a outline of tree and thought it looked really cool with the blue sky in the background. I think that I captured a pretty neat shot with this one, so this picture of a giant tree has to be one of my favorites!

This second picture would also have to be one of my favorites! I really like this picture for many reasons. This picture of a creek is in my backward somewhat. I think the reason that I like this picture so much is because I love going down there when I am stressed out, or me and my sisters used to go down there together when we were younger. When I took this picture I was standing on top of a cement tunnel that the creek goes through, because there is a street on top of the tunnel. My sisters and I used to go inside the tunnel and take calk and draw on the walls of it and we would have a blast writing down funny things about each other, our crushes, and really enjoying each others company. I like this picture, not only because it is a cool shot of a vibrant landscape, but because it captures a fun part of my life that I will never forget!

The last picture I like would also have to be one of my favorites as well! I took a lot of time on this photo and I like the meaning that I gave it. When Mrs. Puglisi gave an assignment of a surreal photo I got excited because I love working with tools and having fun with the pictures that I take. I was sitting at home when I came up with the idea of putting "The World Is in our Hands" into a photograph. I took a close picture of a mini globe, and then thought of how i could put that into a photo. I started taking pictures of my hand and thought that if I took them into photo shop that it would be cool to over lay them and change the opacity on it. Then I took a old picture of a cornfield with a tree, and erased the branches and used my hands as the branches instead. This picture took a lot of time and editing, and i like the way that it turned out!

Reflection

Throughout this class I think that my photography has changed immensely. The clarity and focus of my photography has really improved, and I think that i started seeing pictures in a different way. I think that I really did outside landscapes well, really capturing a line in a photo well. I think that some of my photos could be less blurry, more focused, but it definitely improved throughout the quarter. In the future I will focus on all the lines in my photography being straight, if they are a main part of the photo, and I will really try to capture the big picture. I think that I will continue taking pictures, and in conclusion I really enjoyed this class and I learned a lot of new and interesting things about photography.

Double Exposures

This would definitely have to be one of my favorite double exposures because the meaning of it is, the world is in our hands. If you look really closely there are globes on each one of the hands, and then all the trees are all unique and different, as is everyone in the world. I took a picture of a globe at my house, and i went to a corn field and got a few shots of that, then i took a picture of a tree and I took of the branches and replaced them with hands. I really enjoyed the final product of this picture.
This is another one of my favorites from my double exposure collections. I really like this photo because of the purple tint, and the way it looks as if the faces were woven into each other. I took a picture of two of my friends, and put it underneath a picture of a woven ball. I then changed the opacity of the ball, and took it into light room and edited it there. I think that this picture turned out to be pretty cool.

Favorite Geometric Shadows & Line Photos

This is my favorite picture I took out of all of the line photos. I think that this picture is really neat because their are converging lines, vertical and horizontal, and it blurs out towards the back, and I think that it all comes together to form a pretty cool picture. I was in my living room when i took this, and i used a strong light  to brighten the picture, and arranged the balls in a better form.

This is my favorite out of all the shadow pictures i took because i really like the red color. I think that the shadow is cool because it is a tinted red. I also think that the highlights are really strong on this picture, so I think that is really cool too. I was also in my living room when i took this picture, and i had set up a white sheet on the ground, and used a strong light on this as well. I liked that the sheet wasn't all the way flat in the background.
